 As I read the articles, I ponder on the the word innovation and how it has changed the way students and teachers are in the school systems. The students are in a mindset of why are we doing things that will not prepare me for the real world. The teachers are having a hard time getting the students to be interested in the information that is being taught to them in the classroom. The teachers are less engaged, and they are feeling that way due to the fact that what they are covering with the students may not be what is best for them in their future. Innovation is the key to true leadership for all kids and teachers. Out with the old and in with the new, but not forgetting the old of course. We must not forget the old, I say this to say that the old is the reason why we all have so many ideas pertaining to several topics.
